Prof. Ulf Pettersson is Professor of Medical Genetics at the Institute of Genetics and Pathology, Rudbeck Laboratory, University of Uppsala, Sweden. He has also functioned as the Vice Rector for Medicine and Pharmacy of the University of Uppsala. His research areas are diverse including studies on the adenovirus, genetic diseases, parasitic diseases, cancer and finger printing the tyrosine phosphorylation of cells |

Prof. Janet Hemingway is the Director of the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine, United Kingdom. She was previously Professor of Insect Molecular Biology and Director of Research for Biosciences and Preclinical Sciences, University of Cardiff. Her research has focused mainly on Vector Borne Tropical Diseases, and especially on the insecticide resistance of vectors. |
